I got an email with the question, “Should I buy my child a kids digital camera or a regular digital camera the child can grow into?” from one of my Digital Camera Help visitors. Well, the answer really lies with the child!
If you are buying them a digital camera as an educational toy or to start their interest in photography then a kid digital camera with all the games and software is probley the best bet. Now, if the child already has expressed a liking in photography and has taken pictures with an adult camera a kid digital camera would probley disappoint because of the low megapixel and low flash capabilities.
